OUR CHILD IS BORN!!!!

Again the Rodriguez' in 3F would like to thank all in 70 Wyckoff who supported us, emotionally and or verbally. Our son Matthew Nathaniel Rodriguez (born 08/24/06 @ 627pm, weight @ birth is 8lbs 6oz) is happy and the PICTURE OF HEALTH according to his pediatrician!  Here is my favorite picture of him SO FAR!

THANKS FOR SUPPORTING US & OUR (SOON 2 B) CHILD!

THE RODRIGUEZ' OF 3F WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO (KNOW ABOUT &) HAVE SUPPORTED US WITH WELL WISHES, AND PRAYERS REGARDING THE IMPENDING BIRTH OF OUR (SOON 2 B BORN) CHILD!  THIS BEING OUR FIRST CHILD AFTER 15 YEARS OF MARRIAGE IS NOT ONLY AN EXCITING AND SCARY TIME, IT'S ALSO A TIME OF HAPPINESS AND WONDERMENT!  WE WANTED TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU WHO HAVE SUPPORTED US EMOTIONALLY AND MAYBE JUST SAID A KIND WORD!  THANKS AGAIN....WE WILL POST PICTURES OF OUR CHILD SUBSEQUENT TO THE DEBUT!

FELT AS IF WE WERE UNINVITED

Well, since everyone in the building wrote what they were bringing.....I didn't want to our family to show up empty handed.  I'm sorry our idea of garbage bags was moronic, but that's all we could think of.  The crossing out of our name completely made us feel as if we were UNINVITED.  Thanks for the warm and fuzzy feeling and note (and building agreement).  We will not attend as that's the general consensis (or the feeling we got).  Thanks anyway.  Chris & Maria (4m if I have the couple right), thanks sooooooo much for the boppy for our soon to be born child.  We will thank you in person subsequent to our childs arrival by the end of this month.  We hope that you'll be available for an introduction.  This also goes for Don and his wife (sorry, dont want to spell her name wrong), and Kay (my girl) in 2m.

meeting the neighbors face to face

I'm so happy we are having a BBQ, we'll fianally get to meet the bloggers!
I'm posting a photo of my hubby and I so those of you who visit the website

Community BBQ!!! [1M]

So I posted a sign in the lobby hoping to get some people interested in getting together. I listed some possible stuff that people could bring, but you can add whatever you like!
 
Sunday, August 13th. Outside in the gravel courtyard. 4pm.
 
I'm going to wait until everyone else signs up and then I'll just fill in some of the gaps in the menu.
 
I have a back-up grill that I can borrow from a friend, but it's a bit puny, so I was hoping that someone else in the building might have a grill we can use.
 
Other than that, no rules or anything. I hope lots of us can come out and get a chance to meet or get to know each other better. As for the trashcans, we can always move those far away from where we're eating. I have a few folding chairs, but if you wanna bring yours, that'd be great too.

Yeah it'd be nice to have a building party, but not crazy about having it outside near the trash cans. too bad we don't have a roofdeck or community room. somewhere we could set up an open forum (music, socializing, a few beers, chillin) for whoever wants to come to it and vibe. then people can meet and it won't seem like a gripy building. 3B
